As part of the Climate Change and Human Mobility Project with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Maldives, we designed and developed the project’s core communication materials. This included the production of a comprehensive baseline report and a practical handbook, prepared for both digital and print use. We also created 10 graphic posts to communicate key findings and messages, alongside 3 short video clips (3–5 minutes each) highlighting the project’s central themes. To ensure wide accessibility, all materials were produced and translated into English, Dhivehi, and Bangla, enabling effective engagement with diverse audiences and stakeholders.

As part of the Migrant Workers Resource Centre (MWRC) Project, the first dedicated centre of its kind in the Maldives, we developed a comprehensive suite of multilingual communication materials with the International Organization for Migration Maldives, in partnership with the Government of the Maldives and migrant-serving organizations. The MWRC, inaugurated in June 2025 in Malé, serves as a central hub providing migrant workers with access to legal, health, and welfare information and referral services.
Our work included the design of five migrant-focused brochures and 15 digital posters, produced in eight languages including Bangla, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Nepali, and Filipino. We also created five short video clips lasting 30 seconds to one minute, featuring multilingual subtitles, one of which was presented at the official MWRC inauguration ceremony. Together, these materials supported inclusive access to essential information for migrant communities and strengthened outreach for a first-of-its-kind national initiative.

As part of the ENGEMA voter awareness campaign, we designed a series of graphic posts to deliver essential electoral information in a simple and accessible way. These included visuals on voter registration, polling locations, valid and invalid voting, documents required to vote, and candidate information. Created for easy circulation on social media, the posts complemented the motion graphics and live-action skits, ensuring voters across the Maldives had clear, reliable information ahead of the 2023 Parliamentary Elections.

To support the Power to Persuade campaign, we designed graphic posts in both English and Dhivehi that highlighted the importance of accessibility in elections and everyday life. Each post was created with alt text and clear captions to ensure inclusivity, reflecting the campaign’s commitment to accessible information for persons with disabilities. The posts reinforced messages from the live-action and motion graphics videos, helping to spread awareness widely online while maintaining a clean, colorful, and engaging design style.

In addition to the live-action awareness videos, we produced 17 graphic posts addressing migrant workers’ health concerns. These posts were tailored to different communities and translated into six languages—English, Dhivehi, Hindi, Bangla, Sinhalese, Filipino, and Thai—depending on relevance to each migrant group. Designed for clarity and cultural sensitivity, the graphics provided practical health and safety information, supporting the broader campaign to improve awareness and outreach among migrant workers in the Maldives.

We designed a civic education card game for schools, inspired by the style of Taboo. The cards featured themes related to democracy and governance, helping teachers introduce students to key concepts in a fun, interactive way. Four initial design variations were created, from which one was selected for final production. The project included designing both the cards and the game box, resulting in a professional, print-ready set distributed for classroom use.

We created multilingual information cards containing essential health and emergency details for migrant workers in the Maldives. Designed to be small, portable, and easy to keep, the cards provided quick access to helpline numbers and guidance on key services. Printed and distributed in locations frequently visited by migrant workers, the cards offered an accessible and practical tool to help improve awareness and safety across diverse migrant communities.
